Site’s not really taking advantage of current web trends. I feel like this would have been an awesome site a couple of years ago. Image based nav is not SEO friendly, layered design elements feel dated and the site’s content is highly table based. I thought the +more links could have presented “accordian style” jQuery slider effects that would have been cool - instead it just takes you to another page.
I think the slide out search element is pretty cool, and the site has some pretty good photography.
It’s not a bad site, but I think it underachieves with some dated functionality/design elements.
UGH!!! Why is it that church sites insist on hiding service times, address and phone number? Why do you have to search the entire site for this information?
