What a thoughtfully designed site! The Knoxville Life Church really seems to have focused on cutting out the typical church site junk and creating a focused, friendly site intended put visitors of their target demographic at ease.
One weird thing is that “It’s My First Time” button at the top. It seems superfluous.

I like it too.
But I think that the home page is way too long. I think that some of the stuff, like the directions and telling people about the church should be done on separate pages.

Isn’t this just a template? I’ve seen multiple churches using this…

I dug it man...I do think we need more pics of the pastor and worship leader and stuff!!! lol. This site got me to call you!
One of my favorite sites, mainly because of the great written copy. It’s straight forward, honest and very relatable. While I do think there are a bit too many secondary content boxes on the homepage I don’t think the main content is too long. It follows a logical progression and is well organized. I actually like this website so much I contacted the church asking about their web designers!
Not a fan of the redesign… I mean its nice and clean but really hard to focus on something. Its all black and white except for the orange in the logo… and the orange button about the way they strive to live for the kingomd of heaven. All the the graphics are overly big, everything has too much spacing… which causes the text to be seem really small and not important.
I like that it’s clean - however, I think black and white photo in my opinion is way too big and seems irrelevant…

Nice! The site is clean and simple and breaks the church site mold. Secondary pages compliment the home page. Well laid out and no irrelevant gimmicks. The black and white photo on the home page makes perfect sense. The name of the church is Knoxlife and the photo depicts life in Knoxville.

Nice clean and simple site, first came across it from Smashing Magazine, and get to enjoy it again here.

I think they are revamping their site again.
